“Words can't even describe how grateful I am to have Annie in my life. I'm the awkwardly dressed comfy sweater friend, the one with the Jewish mom saying you'll never find a man dressed like that, etc. Well, for my sister's bachelorette party, I asked Annie to style me. “Annie has been a godsend to wedding seasons! As a business owner who wears a uniform every day the idea of a personal stylist was not exactly on my mind. Then a wedding season with six weddings on the schedule changed all of that. A friend had mentioned a personal stylist to get me through the season. I hired Annie and she we went above and beyond my expectations. 
First off, Annie collected all of the wedding invitations and researched the venues, weather, etc. (like I said, above and beyond) She then went to the department stores and picked out my outfits from head to toe. All I had to do was show up and try on the outfits. Annie picked out the best clothes based on a series of perimeters that I will not pretend to understand. All I know is that they looked great! Annie also gave me recommendations as to what my girlfriend should wear to properly compliment my outfit. This was fun to pretend I knew what I was talking about for a night. I was starting a new job, and wanted to up my wardrobe game and remove stress when getting dressed. My closet was a mess of formal suits from a life in DC to jeans and t-shirts from start-up work in SF. I took Annie's recommendation and did the full consultation, including a style profile, closet consultation, personal shopping and custom lookbook. I was overdue for all of these things, and with each step, I've gained confidence and love the way I look.
Annie first gave me a much better sense of what colors I should wear, and helped me understand what styles look best on my body type. She absolutely nailed the look I was going for. The closet consultation was next, and we got rid of many items, which frankly were overdue for donation or sale. I didn't disagree with her at all.
The shopping experience was entirely new to me, with everything in a room. I just showed up and tried on. Again, Annie was spot-on, and she pulled items I would have overlooked, which exactly achieve the way I want to appear. I have never felt this sophisticated or stylish in clothes. My lookbook appointment is coming up next week, and I cannot wait for the ease which the photos of looks will give my life, for both daily and travel.

“Annie is a Godsend.  I've always wanted to look stylish and like I had my *hit together, whether at work or out with friends, or on a date night, or on the weekends with my kids.  But I never really had the time, energy, or...sense of style to do so.  I absolutely hate hate HATE shopping but I do love looking good.
First step. I took the style survey, which I didn't think was particularly detailed, but Annie definitely gleaned what she needed from it because she absolutely nailed my style (or at least my aspirational style).
The next appointment was the closet consultation.  My closet was already pretty organized, but it was great to have her go through everything and explain to me why certain items just weren't serving me (e.g., not a flattering color or the right cut for my body type).  My only gripe with this was that, while Annie did beautifully fold and arrange everything, it's a lot to pay for someone to fold my clothes!  That said, because it cost so much money, it's definitely held me accountable.  Now, I always fold my clothes neatly and I always put them back in the right spot (i.e. to maintain the color coordination).  And, when things are folded in a way that you can see everything, you kind of "rediscover" items that had gotten crumpled way in the back.  So, I definitely use more of my clothes now that I can see everything.
Then the shopping.  This was awesome.  Annie took so much time to stock the dressing room beforehand and the day I arrived, I felt so taken care of.  The staff that helped us at Nordstrom were so responsive and kind.  They really complemented the experience and made it seamless.
We tried on so many outfits and Annie was really great about teaching me what works and doesn't work -for my body as well as stylistically.
I'm waiting on my look book, but I'm just so excited.  I walked into work this morning in a newly curated outfit and just felt so confident.  Also love that my husband gave me "that look" this morning.  You know what I'm talkin' about. ;) The price of her services still give me heartburn, but 1) Not having to waste time thinking about what to wear each day so i can spend those extra minutes with my babies each morning?  Priceless.  2) Feeling confident when I walk out the door each day? Priceless. 3) Getting "that look" from my husband? Priceless.

Since that first appointment, Annie and I have gone shopping together on several occasions and I can't tell you how excited I am about my new clothes! She has found me the cutest outfits that I can dress down and wear on a casual day but also easily dress up for more of an evening look. Living in San Francisco, wearing an outfit that is both functional for our ever-changing weather but also fashionable can be quite the challenge! She has been my savior with this.
